Jhay Cortez

Jhay Cortez is a singer, songwriter and melodicist from Puerto Rico who defined his career path at the age of 14 when he wrote his first song. By age 16 his first songs were part of a Grammy-winning album. In 2018 Jhay Cortez formally launched his professional career as an artist and one of his compositions, “Criminal" went on to be awarded multi-platinum status and its video garnered over a billion views. That same year he contributed to the lyrics of “I Like It” by Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J. Balvin, which lead to him winning the “Song of the Year” award from ASCAP. In May of 2019, Jhay launched his Latin platinum certified debut album “Famouz”, the lead single from which: “No Me Conoce (Remix)" is diamond and multi-platinum certified around the world and its video has clocked in over 500 million views. In August of 2019 Jhay kicks of his Tour Famouz which will take in around the world for 60 dates.
